This is where I'm supposed to put a witty synopsis of who I am and what I'm doing here in cyberspace, but try as I might I don't think you'd get much more than a glimpse of something I'd like to convey.

I create art... sometimes. I won't call myself an artist because I think that's for history to decide, but I recognize that I've had occasion to create something beautiful. I'm also fortunate that I haven't created my masterpiece yet - it gives me something to work toward.

I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord. I hesitate to call myself a Christian at the risk of associating myself with those who have spoiled the term with fear, pride and hate. Instead, I desire to live and love with a faith that speaks for itself - an effort to be a good and faithful servant.

I'm a student. In every person and situation there's something for me to learn. There's a lot I don't know and more often than not I miss the point, but it's in the moments of realization that I understand and appreciate why I started out on the journey in the first place.

This is a space where I hope to encourage, inspire, and equip others by sharing the things that encourage, inspire, and equip me. Look around. Take what you can and leave what you will. I have a ways to go before I reach my destination and I welcome all the company I can get for the journey.
